We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday! We are so happy to have been able to make it home in between trips! One of our favorite gifts that we recieved was a book from my Grandpa! He actually gifted it to Miles, but since he’s technically my grandfather I’m weaseling my way in on it
I’ve said it once and I will say it again. This man, has the ability to motivate a fucking snail.
I first fell in love with Apple when I got my first Macbook in 2006. (way back when) haha, No but really I have loved considering myself a total “mac girl” for a while now and have to admit I wasn’t very interested to learn anything about the team that provided me with my computer/laptop/ipods/iphones until one day I stumbeled across this.

Steve Jobs quickly became a huge source of inspiration for me.
His speech moved me, quite a bit… Quite a whole Lot! I felt as though he really had it figured out. He had “the secret to life” under his belt.
He was literally making history/making millions, while remaining so humble and aware that at the end of the day he really was just an ordinary man. The brilliance of him (why he was actually not just ordinary but completely extraordinary) was his determination to live out the purpose that was placed upon his life. His life was cut a bit shorter than I’m sure he had originally imagined it would, but boy oh boy.. he certainly made it count. He left his mark here that will continue on .. always.
I’m soooo excited to start this book! I will have to be patient (since this gift is technically Miles) but once I start I have a feeling I won’t be able to put it down!
Here are just a few more beautifully inspiring quotes from Steve Jobs.
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”
“I want to put a ding in the universe.”
“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.”
“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
“Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.”
