I have finally put together these clips from my Bahamas trip last year. Diana and I spent over a month and a half in the Bahamas and had a blast. The surf wasn’t always the best but we had the time of our lives. The island has a small collection of surfers and when I say small I mean less than 5. Surfing alone is always an option, but the good times are had when the crew gets together and goes for a surf. Add in a bottle of Rum and the good times get better.

All the footage for this clip was filmed on a GoPro by William Trubridge. William is the best free-diver in the world. He holds multiple records and is the first person to break the 100 meter mark unassisted. He can hold his breath for 7 1/2 minutes and his latest talent is water videography. This is the first time he filmed surfing and he loved it. He outlasted all of us in the water then put on a mask speared some fish ate it raw and went out into the surf and trailed the waves under water. William is an insane waterman and I can’t wait to go back and film and dive with him some more as well as surf with the crew. Additional footage of the local surfers and our good times together will follow in the near future. Make sure you check back because they are characters to say the least, below is a little about two of them.
THE LOCALS:

The man who runs the show over there is Charlie, he’s crazy. Crazy in the best way possible. He knows how to enjoy life to the fullest and definitely does. He knows everything about the island and all the secret and cool spots. He’s taken me into caves (under ground and underwater) that he has discovered, surf spots, dive spots, blue holes, and into the bush. The best part about hanging with Charlie though is the fact that you will have a smile on your face and will be laughing the entire time.

Brian is my other main hang out buddy on the island. He has lived on his sailboat for over 10 years with his wife and they are now building a house on the island with their own four hands. He is a highly skilled diver. While you go to the grocery store to pick out your dinner he hops into the ocean with his spear and picks out his. He likes to climb high and dive deeper. He can speak to goats and drinks Rum like a true sailor. He lives the good life and is an inspiring human.
