Miles is the best surfer.

He may not be to all, but he’s is certainly my pick to watch out there.. it took me months of traveling & filming him to finally be able to pick him out of a line up.. lots of hours went into studying that boy in a wetsuit.. no complaints here.
& now everyone else just looks like floudering seal’s to me, the way Miles once did.
Hah, at this point you are probably realizing that Miles is really the only surfer that I know, and absolutely the only surfer that I have an insanely mad crush on. I have met a lot of his friends who are quite unreal out there as well, but the prize in my eyes still goes to Miles.

I love that Miles is in the water everyday because it’s what he knows and what he loves. He isn’t out there to impress the crowds, make a name for himself and he’s certainly not out there to pick up on those flirty little bikini babes.. right miles???? No but I’m actually being very serious.. as an outsider to the sport there is so much “who’s who” in the industry in makes me want to gag.. so to be introduced to the sport in a totally different way is so refreshing, and a reason I adore the person Miles is, and why I now find the sport so interesting.
With all of that said, I am writing this post to do what he will not do.. which is brag about him:) Miles is surfing in the Ghetto Juice Air show tomorrow! This contest has a prize of 2,000 $ and is an invite only contest. Miles is one of 30 guys who was invited to participate which is pretty amazing. I’ve never seen him surf in an event so I’m really excited to get my little fold up lawn chair out and a gigantic Starbucks coffee & watch him like the proud girlfriend I am. I could care less about the outcome.. meaning, win or loose the boy is coming home to me..and thats all that really matters. I obviously want the best for him, and that 2,000 dollars could by us plane tickets to a pretty cool destination haha.. but either way he’s forever my favorite surfer.
Come out and watch tomorrow at 54th street in Newport!

I like your style in the last picture when you upside down.
I like miles Smith’s style of surfing,he combines high speed moves with explosive aerials.
