This week Miles & I were invited to go camping at Lake Cachuma with some friends of ours.
To say we enjoyed ourselves would we be an absolute understatement. Not many things are better than good friends & beautiful surroundings.
One morning, the crows were relentless in conversation so I decided rather than be annoyed I would get up alone and explore the area. I loaded my backpack with the essentials: My camera, a couple dollars for a coffee at the bait & tackle, and a good book. I went down to the dock where the sun was rising and had such a beautiful think time. think time is a necessary for everyone.
All of these photos were taken on Manual setting on my Nikon D5000 and after each photo I checked that the image I had just shot matched in color the view that I was looking at. I didn’t dare touch any of them, you will see exactly what I saw. I love that, and I hope you enjoy my morning.

I love the end quote! Think time is necessary! That’s for sure! I love morning lighting. It makes everything look so surreal!
