Rock Stars

Miles might just be one of the most entertaining boys I’ve ever met. I see this firsthand, day in and day out. If he isn’t out surfing, (which sadly he has not been doing much of these days… all you Newport-ers will surely know why and I’m sure are just as upset by the current swell, or lack there of I should say)

Anyways, the thing that I LOVE about this boy is that he wouldn’t for a second let this stop him from being outdoors, being active & being in good company.

A few days ago, we had the day off and my instinct was to stay at our cozy little cottage and finish current projects, edit photos & not change out of my pj’s .. Miles of course had different plans. He had to drag me out, which was completely necessary and very appreciated! I didn’t know where I was even headed but it was a day off and I was determined to have a great attitude.. so camera in hand, snacks in the purse.. we we’re off!

I’m going to get to the point now & let the photos do most of the talking.

As you will see these boys are wild!

Like Pumas they clung their bodies to massive rock faces & climbed their hearts out.

This was by far the most fun I have had shooting photos in a long time! I was BEYOND impressed by Miles and his friends! Nick, also known as “turtle” is so talented and fun to watch, he keeps an intensity to his person climbing, yet so laid back and kind to his fellow climbers. All the boys cheer each other along, getting excited when one completes a new climb.

It was really adorable to watch, but don’t tell them I said that.
