Tara Evans | Solid Stone Fabrics

Vice President of Sales – Western Division

Tara came and spoke to our class about what she does at Solid Stone Fabrics!

She had such a great personality and was really fun to hear & learn from.

Basically she supplies special, novelty fabrics to different companies and clients.

One of her larger more well known clients is Disneyland! She supplies costume fabrics to them, which is pretty cool.

She is continually adding cliental to her list, and works with some really cool people within the industry.

She was a student at Orange Coast College, which is where she earned her Fashion Certificate.

I love hearing from people who were once students here!

Tara has worked hard to get where she is and is clearly great at what she does.

On a normal day Tara visits clients, bringing them new samples and swatches of fabric that she thinks they would like.

She also works with companies to develop specialty fabrics that are custom to what they are needing.

She goes to a lot of trade shows where she is constantly networking and growing relationship.

She gave us so much great advice on following through with people, being quick with responding to clients and to be reliable as a sales person.

Tara also makes beautiful jewelry! This woman is very talented, and was so much fun to be around.
